PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Queens, a 5-year-old Beagle with a gentle personality and a love for easy walks, is this week’s featured Calvert County Pet of the Week.
Queens is an adult female Beagle weighing approximately 28 pounds. Shelter staff describe her as calm, affectionate and ready to start the next chapter with a family of her own.
She enjoys leisurely strolls, time to sniff and explore, and curling up beside someone for quiet companionship. Her easygoing nature makes her a strong match for someone looking for a loyal companion who enjoys life’s simple routines.
This week, Queens’ adoption fee has been sponsored by Prince Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge as part of the Dog of the Week program.
Anyone interested in meeting Queens can submit an adoption application through the shelter’s website. Applications can also be submitted for other available dogs currently waiting for homes.
