All Sales Are Final

Every product sold by The Maryland Small Business Examiner is custom-personalized for the recipient -engraved, printed, or imprinted with your business name, award category, and other details specific to your recognition. Since these items cannot be resold or restocked, all sales are final and we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for buyer’s remorse, change of mind, ordering errors (including misspellings or incorrect information you provided at checkout), or cancellations once production has begun.

Please review your order details carefully before completing your purchase. Once your order is placed, it moves directly into production and cannot be changed or canceled.

Quality Guarantee

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We stand behind the quality of every award and recognition product we ship. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered (e.g., wrong business name, wrong award category, wrong product), we will either refund your purchase or reprint and reship the item to you at no additional cost — your choice.

To Qualify, You Must:

Report the issue within 30 days of delivery by emailing info@mail.mdsbexaminer.com with your order number.

Include clear photos showing the damage, defect, or error (and a photo of the shipping box if damaged in transit).

Retain the original item and packaging until your claim is resolved.

Claims submitted after 30 days of delivery cannot be honored.

What’s Not Covered

This policy does not cover:

  • ›Errors in information you provided at checkout (business name spelling, award category, etc.)
  • ›Damage from improper installation, outdoor exposure of indoor-rated products, mishandling, or normal wear and tear
  • ›Minor variations in color, finish, grain, or texture inherent to natural materials (crystal, wood, metal) or printing processes
  • ›Delivery delays caused by the carrier
