Bob’s Discount Furniture has opened its newest location in Baltimore County.
The 38,817-square-foot store has set up shop at 6501 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville.
The business held a grand opening on Friday, where executives presented $2,500 checks each to Catonsville Emergency Assistance and Westowne Elementary School.
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Manchester, Connecticut, Bob’s Discount Furniture is a household name across much of the the Mid-Atlantic region. The company has more than 200 showrooms across the United States.
In Maryland alone, the company has 12 locations. The new Catonsville store joins existing locations in Aberdeen, Bowie, Cockeysville, Columbia, Frederick, Glen Burnie, Hagerstown, Hyattsville, Nottingham, Rockville, and Waldorf.
Bob’s Discount Furniture prides itself on its “no-pressure, no-gimmicks shopping experience” and affordable prices that offer “superior value and service, without compromising on quality or style,” according to the company’s website.
