1. Maryland Buy Local Week: It is Maryland Buy Local Week. The Maryland Department of Agriculture is encouraging residents to buy local products. That can mean stopping by a farmers market or choosing a restaurant that sources local ingredients.

2. Evenings in Olde Towne: At 6:30 p.m., Seth Kibel will put on a free, family-friendly concert at the concert pavilion at 31 South Summit Ave. in Gaithersburg. There will be on-site beer and wine sales and a food truck.
3. Comedy Night in Silver Spring: At 7 p.m., Improbable Comedy will put on a beach-themed party and comedy show at Commas Food Hall in downtown Silver Spring. Recommended for ages 18+. Tickets cost $17.85. Tickets here
