Simon Haileselassie Tehre, 59, of Silver Spring, has been charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct following an August 21, 2026 incident at the intersection of HG Trueman Road and Town Square Drive in Lusby, where authorities allege he pulled down his pants and urinated beside his vehicle in view of passing motorists. According to an account filed by a Calvert County Sheriff’s Office deputy, the incident began at approximately 8:41 p.m. as the deputy was driving near HG Trueman Road and Town Square Drive. The deputy reported seeing a silver Toyota RAV4 stopped at a traffic light in the left-turn lane for Town Square Drive with its hazard lights activated. The deputy wrote that as he approached, Tehre “stepped out of the vehicle, pulled his pants down, and began urinating on the driver’s side back tire in plain view of passersby and vehicles that were stopped at the stoplight.” The deputy said the initial interaction was not captured on his agency-issued body-worn camera.
