Kristina Elaine Sharpe, 37, of Waldorf, is facing nine drug-related charges following an August 20, 2026, traffic stop in Lexington Park, including felony possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of Xanax, possession of amphetamine, three counts involving drug paraphernalia, intentionally removing or altering a prescription label, and possession of cocaine while confined at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center. According to an account filed by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Bare stopped a white Dodge Durango at about 4:39 p.m. on August 20, 2026, near the intersection of Pegg Road and Admiral Lane in Lexington Park for a motor vehicle equipment violation. Sharpe was identified as the vehicle’s front-seat passenger. Deputies conducted a canine scan of the Durango, and police said the dog alerted to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search allegedly uncovered several items on the side of the vehicle where Sharpe had been seated, including a pill bottle containing suspected amphetamine with a torn label, a straw with suspected drug residue, a suspected rock of crack cocaine, suspected powdered cocaine, a metal rod and two glass pipes with burned residue.
