On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at approximately 11:53 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the 23000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for the serious motor vehicle collision involving a structure. Crews arrived on the scene within minutes of dispatch to confirm a single vehicle struck the exterior corner of the residence with the operator suffering injuries. EMS evaluated the operator and consulted with an area trauma center. The single patient was transported by ambulance to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.
