

ARUNDEL MILLS, Md. — A male driver was shot Wednesday morning during an alleged road rage incident on northbound I-295 near the Route 175 exit.
The shooting was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. on June 10, 2026. Troopers from the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack responded to the area after receiving a report of the incident.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center for treatment of his injuries. His condition was not immediately available.
Authorities said the victim had a passenger in his vehicle at the time of the incident. No injuries to the passenger were immediately reported.
Northbound I-295 remained shut down near Route 175 Wednesday morning as Maryland State Police continued the investigation.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the roadway closure remained in effect.
